A Typical Arvigo® Session
Arvigo® Practitioners hold an active health care license or comparable education and experience and are regulated by the scope of practice of their profession or community. The application and integration of Arvigo® Therapy is based from the standard set forth in our course of study. Practitioners may include their professional skills in addition to a standard session and may include some or all of the following depending on the assessment made by your practitioners:
- A comprehensive review of past and present healthcare needs focusing on reproductive and digestive health
- Upper and lower abdominal treatment to:
Align reproductive and abdominal organs to optimal position
Improve circulation to organs
Promote vital circulation flow to support the body’s inherent healing ability
- Evaluation of and application of bodywork to improve alignment of spine, hips, and sacrum
Instruction in "home self-care" massage: This is the hallmark of Arvigo® Therapy. Based on years of experience we have witnessed that the "home self-care" techniques are the key to support the benefit of practitioner sessions. The benefits obtained from a practitioner's session are enhanced through home practice.
*Practitioners at times recommend complementary modalities to support your health and wellness which may include the following:
• Faja – a traditional lower abdomen support wrap
• Pelvic Steams-traditional Maya herbal pelvic steam bath
• Castor oil packs
• Nutritional and herbal support
• Lifestyle education
*Complementary therapies as listed above (or others based on practitioners license and scope of practice) are based on experience in the interest of achieving the best result for client goals. Always discuss the benefits of any therapeutic recommendations with your practitioner.
Typically 2-3 professional sessions may be required to address many health care symptoms and conditions. Your practitioner will work with you to develop a plan to meet your specific needs. Clients who perform their self-care massage on a routine basis generally experience the best results.
